Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A school psychologist position is available in an elementary school setting located in New Haven, CT. This contract role spans the full school year, providing essential psychological services that support student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
  • Experience working in an elementary school environment preferred.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and guidelines is a plus.
