About Job

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


Providing psychological services in a K-12 school setting, this contract position offers the opportunity to support students academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant policies and regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in school psychology.

Location:

  • Hartford, Connecticut.
