This full-time contract position is ideal for licensed School Psychologists seeking a rewarding role working across K-12 schools in New Milford, CT. The assignment runs from the end of August through June, providing comprehensive school year (CSY) coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-based interventions.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Connecticut School Psychologist (CT Psych) license is required.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel and families.
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments across several schools during the school year.
