Position Overview:
The Wellness & Care Manager (Operations Lead) oversees the day-to-day wellness, safety, and operations of our residents and caregiving staff. This role bridges caregiving with leadership and is ideal for someone with CNA or medical care experience who’s ready to grow into operational leadership. You will also support business functions such as resident intakes, shift oversight, family communication, and light compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Wellness & Emergency Oversight
- Monitor resident conditions daily (vitals, oxygen levels, behavior)
- Respond to clinical changes with calm and sound judgment (e.g., apply oxygen, call 911, alert family)
- Document incidents, vitals, and medication logs per protocol
- Support dignity in ADLs and memory care best practices
Home Operations & Staff Oversight
- Supervise caregivers and ensure daily task completion
- Conduct shift handoffs and maintain cleanliness standards
- Manage household inventory (PPE, meds, supplies)
- Ensure care environment meets safety and licensing standards
Resident Intake & Family Engagement
- Conduct tours, assessments, and resident onboarding
- Maintain positive communication with families and medical providers
- Build relationships with referral partners (with guidance from Director)
Administrative Support
- Assist with basic compliance tracking (MARs, logs, emergency drills)
- Lead monthly wellness checks and internal audits
- Help maintain a positive, compliant, and compassionate home culture
Qualifications:
- CNA or at least 1–2 years of direct care experience (required)
- Strong observational and emergency response skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Comfortable taking initiative and making care-based decisions
- Familiar with oxygen concentrators, vitals, and fall protocol
- Willingness to learn intake process, business operations, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with compassion and professionalism
Compensation:
- $16.00–$18.50/hour, depending on experience
- ($1,000 - 3000 )for each resident you help admit
