A licensed Social Worker is needed to cover a leave of absence at an elementary school in Portsmouth, RI. This contract position starts January 27th and runs through March 28th, with the possibility of extending through the end of the school year. The role involves supporting an elementary caseload, providing crucial services to students, and documenting those services for Medicaid reimbursement purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work support to elementary-aged students
• Maintain accurate and timely records of services rendered
• Collaborate with school staff to address student needs
• Comply with state and federal guidelines, including fingerprinting and background checks
• Participate in onboarding and any required training sessions

Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island Social Worker license
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to manage an elementary school caseload effectively

Schedule: 35 hours per week
