ABA Insight has been providing behavior analytic services for individuals with autism and their families since 2017 and continues to be owned and managed by Behavior Analysts. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based ABA therapy, ensuring that every individual receives the personalized support they need to thrive at home, in school, and in the community. We focus on creating joyful relationships, building social learning repertoires, and developing language for independence. We use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in natural, supportive ways while our learners assent to therapy and enjoy their time with us. We're looking for a passionate, qualified, and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team! 

 

Position Summary 

Licensed Behavior Analysts are responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating behavioral health treatment services for individuals diagnosed with autism. This includes developing meaningful treatment programs that decrease barriers to learning, increase opportunities for growth and positively impact the quality of life of the individuals served. In addition to clinical service delivery, the LBA will provide training and supervision for behavioral technicians and collaborate with external and internal treatment team members.  

 

Components of the position are listed below and may change with professional and organizational needs, at the discretion of ABA INSIGHT. This job description is not an exhaustive list of duties that may be assigned.   

 

Essential Job Duties  

These are components of the LBA, BCBA position that are required and expected ongoing. 

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and various skills assessments  
  • Design and develop individualized behavior programs  
  • Develop and maintain Electronic Medical Record (EMR), including client programming and data collection  
  • Monitor client progress, complete data decision analysis, update/revise treatment and behavior support plans  
  • Provide caregiver education and support (essential component of therapy)  
  • Maintain consistent, reliable schedule with clients  
  • Provide appropriate amount and scope of case supervision, facilitating desired clinical outcomes  
  • Provide timely responses to the needs of families served in a supportive, therapeutic manner  
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with all stakeholders  
  • Attend company required trainings and meetings, maintain continued education, certification(s) and license(s)  
  • Adhere to therapeutic standards of excellence and code of ethics 
  • Demonstrate compliance with rules established by governing and accrediting bodies for clinical service provision and operations 
  • Ensures that all stakeholders including families, paraprofessionals, caregivers and funding sources are satisfied with services, including problem-solving and resolution of concerns, timely reporting issues, and follow up on identified resolutions  


Additional Job Duties 

These are components of the LBA, BCBA position that are flexible and required as needed. 

  • Assist in building the team via behavior technician interviews and training  
  • Assist with scheduling of clients as needed  
  • Provide direct line therapy services to client as needed  
  • Assist behavior technicians with daily needs of clients  
  • Assist with company development projects

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

  • Thorough understanding of ABA, BACB Code of Ethics, and CASP ABA Practice Guidelines  
  • Effective case conceptualization skills (as evidenced by case study activity) 
  • Time management, organization, and job task prioritization skills 
  • Ability to attend client appointments and clinical team meetings with consistency, reliability and punctuality  
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external partners in a professional, timely manner  
  • Fluent clinical knowledge used for client documentation, internal and external communication  
  • Knowledge of and skilled at providing and receiving constructive feedback 
  • Leadership and management skills needed to create and sustain meaningful interpersonal relationships with all team members 
  • A collaborative attitude aligned with Insight's code of ethics and supportive of the company’s mission and culture  

Qualifications 

  • Master’s Degree with BCBA Certification  
  • At least one (1) year experience completing comprehensive assessments and behavior support plans, with preference given to individuals with previous Intellectual Developmental Disability (IDD) and/or autism experience   
  • Must pass a criminal background check, Recipient Rights background check and others as required  
  • Must complete additional training after employment including but not limited to company in-services and required funding source trainings  
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds  
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting and standing) and sit on the floor for extended periods of time  
  • Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance required  
  • Must have reliable access to email and phone contact   
  • Must be willing to drive within a 30-60-mile radius (from home center) as needed for treatment of clients in the home, community and school settings   

Preferred EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS  

  • Knowledge of and training in PFA/SBT protocol(s)  
  • Knowledge of and training in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions
