About Job

This is a professional position providing a wide range of services within the scope of the field of training. This position is responsible for providing outpatient therapy, counseling, psychological testing and behavior plans and other support services to children, youth and adults in the Behavioral Developmental Disabilities Program. The person in this position may perform assessments, testing and evaluations based on individual consumer needs. This position functions with a great deal of professional independence under the general guidance and supervision of the Full Circle Program Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person comprehensive assessments and evaluations
  • Coordinate treatment and individual plans of service
  • Provide individual, play, family, group therapy.
  • Complete psychological testing (IQ and adaptive functioning and testing for diagnostic purposes)
  • Score and interpret the testing and generate Psychological Reports in a timely manner.
  • Complete functional assessment to create a behavior plan and write behavior plan
  • Participate in BTPRC as needed, in service residential staff and family members.
  • Act as liaison between the child’s/adult’s family and the staff in the psycho-educational program
  • Enable the family to access and utilize appropriate community resources
  • Prepare reports for other agencies, courts, schools, etc.
  • Maintain client records in keeping with professional standards and in a timely manner
  • Participate in in-service planning and programming
  • Must adhere to agency policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all requirements/standards of the Behavioral Health Telehealth Agreement
  • Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work or related field of study
  • Valid LLP/LP State of Michigan Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with evaluation, treatment and services delivered to adults, children and their families
  • Valid MI driver's license and be approved acceptable by agency's insurance carrier
