PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, plan, administer, evaluate and provide safe therapeutic recreation therapy for the patients on the inpatient rehabilitation unit. This includes progression of treatment, establishing goals and engaging in patient and family education, and assessment and treatment of a patient caseload ranging from routine to complex patient problems - Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to team members - Act as a resource within the Rehab Therapies Department for other health care professionals - Collaborate with rehabilitation colleagues and management to identify clinical/program needs - Participate in quality improvement programs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current WA State Licensure as a Recreation Therapist. - Graduation from an accredited Therapeutic Recreation Program AND 18 months of professional therapeutic recreation experience OR Equivalent education/experience.
