Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Behavioral Health Team as a licensed counselor within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). ReGenesis Health Center is committed to improving quality of life by providing patient-centered, affordable, and accessible health care in partnership with our communities. We are seeking a licensed counselor who is enthusiastic about patient care and committed to clinical excellence to serve our patients in the Woodruff area.

Excellent salary up to $62,000 with full-time benefits depending on licensure and experience. Sign-on bonus and quarterly incentive.

  • Current South Carolina license as LISW-CP, LMSW, LMFT, or LPC. Associate-level license will be considered.
  • Must have experience with providing clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults, preferably in a health care setting. A passion for working with children ages 6 and up is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with evidence-based treatment modalities and crisis management.
  • Must be knowledgeable of mental health practices and integrated care.
  • Must show ability to foster a collaborative team environment and embrace culturally diverse setting.
  • Be operationally proficient with technological aspects of medicine, electronic medical records, MS Office applications, and language translation assisted devices.
  • Experienced in working independently and as part of a health care team.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work at multi-locations of ReGenesis Health Care.


Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Work within the established organizational baseline of integrated primary health and behavioral health capability.
  • Provide assessment of client needs, counseling, and access to needed and appropriate services, including treatment, rehabilitation and service linkage, case monitoring, and client advocacy functions.
  • Maintain confidential records on client appointments, interactions, and interventions and prepare related reports.
  • Review individual service plans, follow up, and intervene as required.
  • Consult with representatives of other agencies or programs to coordinate client treatment services and case management services.
  • Perform discharge and aftercare planning; follow up with clients to determine their progress and adjustment during and after services.
