CRF Celebrating 45 Years of Excellence in Behavioral Health Services in San Diego County!

Hours: 8 hours per week. Program hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday; and 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday. This position will require onsite supervision. Remote work is not available for this position.

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Licensure: Current and valid license as a Psychologist with the California Board of Psychology required. License must be kept current throughout employment.

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will:

  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision of clinical staff, including interns and practicum students from various local college programs.
  • Follow Professional Board requirements and educational institution contracts and requirements.
  • Participate in utilization management.
  • Review and co-sign clinical records.
  • Be available for clinical consultation, if needed.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have held a license as a Psychologist for at least 2 years that is renewed and in good standing with the CA Board of Psychology, required
  • Experience working with the severe and persistent mentally ill population and with adults/older adults is required; experience with co-occurring disorders also strongly preferred
  • Eligible to provide clinical supervision per Board of Psychology and Board of Behavioral Sciences criteria
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • This program is housed in a two-story building that does not have an elevator. Ability to navigate stairs is required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Douglas Young Wellness and Recovery Center is one of our Adult Outpatient programs (AOP) which provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, and peer support.. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.

All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.

CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego County's residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges.
