Bachelor's Degree in NursingRequired Skills:
Nursing skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice. Basic knowledge and skills to care for the clinical needs of the population served. Professional and efficient verbal and written communication skills. Professional interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, basic organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of general office and administrative practices and procedures. Knowledge of how to utilize office equipment (i.e., copy machine, fax machine, etc.) Must have demonstrated experience in working with patients and caregivers dealing with acute and chronic illness. Must be capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks of critical importance simultaneously.Preferred Skills:
Experience with Home Care Home Base; Experience with smart phones and smart devicesRequired Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Current Texas state license in appropriate discipline; Current American Heart Association CPR; Current Texas state driver's license; Current auto insurance. Must have reliable transportation.Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
OASIS certified; Wound Care certified; Advanced education or certification in area of specialtyRequired Experience:
One year experience in a healthcare setting in respective disciplinePreferred Experience:
Medical-Surgical experience; Experience in Case Management; Supervisory position in healthcare setting; Home Care of Hospice experience
