Bright Leaf Therapy and Assessment is located in Plano and offers individual and group counseling/therapy services. We specialize in treatment for ASD and ADHD, in addition to working with other diagnoses across various ages (adult, young adult, teenage). Our aim is to help others improve their emotional control/processing, symptom management, coping skills, executive functioning, social skills, communication in relationships, independent living skills and more. Description of Role :

This is a part-time position for a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. The LPC-Associate will provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Additional responsibilities include phone consultations, using an EMR system, conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, charting progress notes, managing appointment scheduling, participating in case consultations and peer supervision, payment processing.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
  • Must possess a LPC Associate licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Detailed understanding of the State Board rules and knowledge of the ethical and legal requirements for counselors in Texas.
  • Experience treating ASD and ADHD.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Superior time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in an organized and timely manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change, motivate, and confront.
  • Desire to learn and grow as a counselor/therapist.
  • Experience with group counseling is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
