We work with people of all ages at home, at work, and in the community through residential programs, employment services, crisis response, day services and more.

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist Contractor to provide behavior consultation to individuals and teams in home based and community services as needed. This position offers hands on engagement with individuals and staff outside of a typical clinical setting. We provide, a team environment, great challenges, and even greater fulfillment as you help individuals reach and expand their potential. The ideal candidate must be able to react well under pressure and be able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) level professional, eligible to work with individuals who reside in Vermont, with developmental and complex trauma focused experience.
  • The individual or agency clinical provider will have experience working with the identified population of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, brain injury or a closely related population.
  • The clinically licensed staff must receive training on, including but not limited to, the following topics:

Act 248 (Vermont’s Civil Commitment Law for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities) – knowledgeable in Assessment tools and other related documents.

Public Safety – knowledgeable in Best Practices Manual – Assessment.

Treatment and Risk Management with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Problematic Sexualized Behaviors and assessment tools and other related documents.

Individual specific training related to medical conditions that individuals are experiencing or are likely to experience.

Brain Injury Fundamentals training.

Specific topics within the case management core competency trainings as specified by the State

Qualifications

  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) level professional.
  • Eligible to work with individuals who reside in Vermont, with developmental and complex trauma focused experience.
  • Experience working with the identified population of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, brain injury or a closely related population.
  • The selected contractor will provide their own equipment such as lap top computer and cell phone, and possess their own liability insurance
