We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities or autism. Your primary focus will be to implement behavioral therapy techniques and support patient care under the guidance of a licensed professional. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and have experience in special education or behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and behavioral goals.
- Provide direct support to clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Monitor client progress and document behavioral changes accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective strategies for patient care.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist in training and educating families on behavior management techniques.
Skills
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while fostering a supportive environment.
- Experience in medical documentation practices related to ABA.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
