About Job

School Counselor at Northwest Primary School Rutland City Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, organized student and family-centered school counselor to work with students with emotional and behavioral challenges whose grade levels range from grades K-2. Applicants must possess knowledge of trauma, crisis intervention, and diverse learning styles and be able to apply counseling theories and techniques for individuals, groups, and families. The successful candidate must work as a part of a team in assisting students and family members in problem-solving, communication, and positive relationships. The position begins on August 20, 2025.Successful applicants must have three years of experience and have a strong background in an educational setting.

A Masters Degree and a current educational license through the Agency of Education is required.
