School Psychologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for a 36-week contract assignment! This position involves working directly with students from Kindergarten through 6th grade, providing psychological assessments, counseling, and support to promote their academic and emotional well-being. We welcome both experienced professionals and new graduates to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
  • Stay current with best practices and interventions in school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • IL PEL Endorsement is required
  • Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred, but not required.
