About Job

Position Overview: Wandering Pine Wellness is seeking a Clinical Supervisor. Primary responsibilities: provide supervision to clinical staff. Clinical Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a caseload of their own, supporting the professional development of clinical staff, and promoting a positive workplace culture. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 35+ hours of work per week. Supervisors are required to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week. Clinical Supervisor Duties/Responsibilities (35 hour work week, including 20 client sessions):
  • Supervise and oversee clinical services of pre-licensed and fully licensed.
  • Communicate and work closely with the Clinical Director and Director of Operations.
  • Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Wandering Pine Wellness as a Clinical Supervisory; convey related information to supervisees.
  • Provide consistent training and guidance to clinicians, emphasizing accountability for timely and accurate documentation.
  • Review clinical documentation of supervisees.
  • Monitor overall clinical performance through structured weekly supervision meetings.
  • Attend monthly meetings with other members of the leadership team to discuss and collaborate on processes and/or procedures, clinical issues, and successes.
  • Participate in and provide trainings to support the delivery of clinically sound and ethically responsible care.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.

Clinical Therapist Duties/Responsibilities (remaining hours/month):
  • Provide therapy to a caseload of up to 20 clients.
  • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Wandering Pine Wellness.
  • Respond to referral requests in accordance to company policy.
  • Communicate with a clients’ treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as applicable.
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner in accordance to company policy.
  • Charge and collect payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy.
  • Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Wandering Pine Wellness.

Required Qualifications:
  • Maintain a primary MFT or CPC supervisor credential, as defined by the State of Nevada.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience providing clinical supervision.
  • Must be familiar with Nevada laws, ethics, and documentation requirements related to supervising interns and postgrads.
  • Engage in anti-racism and anti-oppression work; convey these concepts to supervisees.
  • Experience providing therapy to insurance-based clients.
  • Familiarity with providing supervision virtually and using EHR/telehealth platforms.
  • Experience providing therapy to individual adults and teens.
  • Experience providing therapy to couples.
  • Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Make independent decisions regarding the clinical support of provisionally licensed staff.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience providing clinical supervision.
  • Experience using Simple Practice EHR.
  • EMDR trained or certified.
  • Training in EFT or Gottman method for couples.
  • Experience providing family therapy.
