What You’ll Do

• Install plastic film, foam, and upholstery material (fabric or vinyl) onto wooden frames using a staple gun.
• Trim excess materials using scissors.
• Use regulators and other tools to smooth foam and ensure quality finish.
• Conduct visual inspections on each component to meet quality standards.
• Apply proper upholstery techniques to meet company and customer expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization using the 5S system.
• Follow the pull system and all company safety procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervision or management.

What You Bring

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic tools (staple guns, mallets, regulators, etc.)
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift (up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and forklift traffic.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in furniture upholstery is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and using tools repetitively
