Job Summary:

The FCS focuses on empowering the family to solve problems, become self-sufficient, and strengthen their relations with a variety of community resources.

FCSs provide clinical service delivery, including thorough family assessment, identification of strengths and risk factors within the family, family service plan development, implementation, and outcomes identified in each plan in collaboration with social workers.

Join our team of therapists, including FCS, Evidence-based Practice and Mental Health Therapists in providing strength-based family services.

Starting Wage: $22.00-25.00
Program: 39
Location: Lynnwood, Burlington, or Oak Harbor. Hiring for counties: Snohomish, or Island/Skagit county - Whidbey island and San Juan island only.


We are looking for Full Time Family Services Counselors.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, social or behavioral science or closely related field
    • OR
  • Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences or closely related field and two years’ paid experience delivering services to families and children.
  • Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
  • Be at least 21 or older

Licensing and Certifications:

  • Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid Certification (Paid by SA)
  • Current driver’s license, car, and car insurance
  • TB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment (Paid by SA)
  • Current or ability to obtain: Licensed, certified or agency affiliated as a counselor in the State of Washington under Department of Health healthcare professional credentialing guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social or behavioral science or closely related field from an accredited college or university plus minimum one-year experience working with children and families
