Affinity Psychological Services is a clinician-owned and operated group practice - founded, led, and shaped by fully licensed clinicians who have been exactly where you are. The anti-burnout difference:

We believe that "access" for clients is not possible without clinicians who are there to do the work. Therefore, Affinity's foundational philosophy is to support the well-being of the incredible mental health clinicians on our team. We exist to allow clinicians to have long, meaningful, sustainable careers in this field.

What full-time actually means here:

We consider full-time to be 20 billed clinical hours per week, for 48 weeks per year. We assume you take 4 full weeks off annually and we build that into your minimum - because rest is part of the job.

Bonus pay for those who want more:

Clinicians who choose to average 24+ billed clinical hours per week unlock a higher pay tier. But it's never required and never expected.

Full schedule autonomy:

You decide when, where, how, and with whom you work best. In-office, telehealth, or hybrid is entirely up to you. If you are joining an in-person team, we do require a minimum of 2 days per week in-office, to ensure colleagues have sufficient opportunities to build both personal and professional relationships with one another.

Our pay rate: (Full transparency, always)

Masters-Level Clinicians (fully licensed):

• $63 per billed clinical hour
• $69 per billed clinical hour at an average of 24+ hours per week

Psychologist Clinicians (fully licensed, therapy only):

• $72 per billed clinical hour
• $79 per billed clinical hour at an average of 24+ hours per week

Why flat rate matters:

Your pay is predictable every month, with no waiting on insurance reimbursements and no exposure to audits, clawbacks, or insurance delays. The moment you see a client, your pay is guaranteed.

We take Medicaid and all insurance plans, including lower-reimbursing ones. Equitable access to mental health care is core to who we are. If that's not a fit for you, we're probably not the right practice for you.

Benefits:

• Medical insurance - three BCBS PPO plan options, with 50% employer contribution toward the Silver plan. (Psychotherapy is covered at co-pay only, outside the deductible, on both Silver and Gold plans. Because therapy for therapists matters.)

• CEU support - $500 annually for trainings of your choice, plus a minimum of 20 free CEU hours provided by Affinity each year

Requirements

• Full licensure in Minnesota (LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC)
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in all its forms

Preferred

• 2+ years of clinical experience
• A niche or specialty area of practice

Several of our locations currently have at least one open office we'd love to fill with a clinician who will round out the clinical expertise on that team!
