Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in school psychology, counseling, or closely related field
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Solid understanding of special education laws, response-to-intervention, and multi-tiered systems of support
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess learning, emotional, or behavioral needs
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect support to students through counseling, skill-building, and crisis intervention services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to promote positive behavioral supports and inclusive practices
- Deliver professional development and guidance on academic, behavioral, and mental health issues
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
