Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) or BCBA in training (**Must be in a BCBA program to qualify) to join our dynamic clinic team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate closely with families to promote meaningful progress. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based behavioral therapy programs tailored to each client’s needs.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track client progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Provide direct patient care by delivering ABA therapy sessions in a clinic setting, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for clients.
- Perform intake evaluations and assist with initial client assessments to establish treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and session documentation, following all confidentiality protocols.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a BCBA or actively pursuing BCBA certification in training; relevant experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities is desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while independently managing caseloads.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients’ families, caregivers, and team members.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality is essential.
