Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to join our team. This leadership role is essential in ensuring high-quality resident care, strong staff coordination, and effective communication between residents, families, nurses, physicians, and team members.The RCC serves as a working leader who supports the care department by providing hands-on care, supervising CNAs, and overseeing the day-to-day coordination of resident needs. This position requires strong accountability, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation for care and staffing emergencies.BenefitsFun and rewarding work environmentWeekend On-Call BonusSupportive management that truly cares about residents and staffOur signature "WOW" culturePaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysHealth, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401(k) with employer matchFull team support (housekeeping, dietary, activities, etc.) so you can focus on quality resident careWonderful residents and a team-oriented atmosphereKey ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Department OversightTake ownership of the care department and ensure residents' needs are consistently metSupervise and support CNAs, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance accountabilityAssist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff developmentMaintain department organization, professionalism, and compliance with community policies and protocolsResident Care CoordinationProvide direct care on CNA shifts at least three (3) days per week and assist with coverage as neededEnsure care plans are developed, updated, and followed in collaboration with the nurseCoordinate with nurses, physicians, families, and outside agencies to support comprehensive resident careMonitor changes in resident condition and communicate concerns promptly and professionallySupport a smooth transition for new residents and ongoing care needsCommunication & DocumentationMaintain accurate, timely paperwork and documentation on non-floor shiftsCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and staff with empathy, professionalism, and clarityDeliver sensitive information with compassion and discretionEnsure confidentiality and proper handling of resident information at all timesOperational SupportAssist with staffing coordination and shift coverage as neededParticipate in on-call responsibilities for care and staffing emergenciesEnsure staff follow established protocols, care standards, and community expectationsPromote a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environmentRequirementsCurrent CNA License (required)Minimum of 2 years of CNA experienceAt least 1 year of experience as a Med Tech or Lead CNACPR and First Aid CertificationFood Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain upon hire)Fingerprint clearance and TB test required upon hireAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm under pressure and manage critical situations effectivelyHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and accountabilityIdeal CandidateA self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and follow-throughCompassionate and passionate about serving the elderly populationA confident leader who holds staff accountable while supporting team successHighly organized, dependable, and solution-orientedCommitted to maintaining excellent care standards and a safe, supportive environmentPositive attitude aligned with a culture of teamwork, service, and excellenceIf you are a dedicated CNA leader looking for a meaningful role where you can truly make an impact in residents' lives while supporting a strong care team, we encourage you to apply.
