Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
We are also looking for BCaBAs for our Tampa location!
Pay rate can be negotiated during interview.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic support for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral interventions and best practices in patient care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of behavioral health.
Experience
- A minimum of one year of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. But we are also open to providing opportunities for a brilliant start if you have recently graduated as a BCBA.
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques, including data collection and patient assessment.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and intake processes is essential.
- Previous experience in patient care settings, particularly within the context of behavioral health, is highly desirable.
