Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling, with expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive mental health services across diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster positive outcomes. The position requires working with CPS clients both in-person and virtually conducting individual family and group counseling (anger management).
Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify patient needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis management strategies to support patients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises, including crisis intervention techniques.
- Deliver specialized services such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring accuracy in medical terminology and coding for billing purposes using CPT coding where applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and case management strategies that address complex mental health needs.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to services while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and data security.
- Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection efforts to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to evidence-based practices within behavioral health.
Experience
- Proven experience providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling across outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities within clinical or hospital environments.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols, social work practices, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate patient classification.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles relevant to behavioral health treatment plans is advantageous.
- Strong background in medical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management within a clinical setting.
- Prior experience utilizing telehealth technology for patient care delivery is preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
