Behavior Therapist, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Full-Time, Part-Time (Afternoons)

Steps to Progress LLC provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism . We are looking for full time and part time (afternoons) applicants who want to help children with autism develop the behavioral, social, and communication skills they need to be successful. We provide in-clinic, in-home, and in-school ABA therapy to children, pre-teens, teens, and young adults.

Steps to Progress pays for new employees to be trained to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) during the first month of employment. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide ongoing training and support to our RBTs and are there every step of the way to help them excel and succeed.

Requirements

• A desire to help children with autism
• Prior experience working with children
• College Degree Preferred, must have high school diploma
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn ABA techniques quickly
• Excellent rapport with children; experience working with children preferred
• Positive Attitude
• Reliability - At Work and On Time Every Day
• Driver’s License, Own Reliable Transportation, and Texas Required Auto Insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in-clinic, in-home, and in-school
• Run ABA therapy programs with children and take data of their responses
• Engage with children to assist with development of skills, including speech, cognition, play, social interaction, and behavior
• Complete session notes for each therapy session
• Communicate and coordinate with BCBAs and other RBTs in providing therapy

Beneifts

• $18 - $22/hr, starting pay, depending upon RBT certification and experience.
• Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (approx. 35 - 40 hours/week)
• Part-time (afternoons) Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Paid RBT training during the first month of employment - we pay full wages plus all initial RBT fees
• Paid travel time, mileage, and tolls for in-home and in-school sessions
• We pay 75% of medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums for full-time employees
• Paid time off: 12 days PTO + 7 paid holidays in year one; 15 days PTO in year two
• 401(k) with up to 4% company match after one year
• Company paid Life and AD&D Insurance for full-time employees after 30 days
• Company paid Short-Term Disability insurance for full- time employees after one year
