Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through applied behavior analysis (ABA) and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, experience working with children, and a commitment to ethical and HIPAA-compliant practices.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using evidence-based techniques such as ABA and behavior management strategies
  • Collect and record data accurately on client progress, behaviors, and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care plans
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and other self-care tasks
  • Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and promoting positive behaviors
  • Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and care plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions and support strategies
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all privacy standards related to medical records and client information
  • Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education, medical terminology, and behavior management techniques

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and special education practices is highly desirable
  • Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing patient care strategies is a plus
  • Familiarity with medical documentation, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records is beneficial
  • Previous work in behavioral health or educational settings involving individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities will be advantageous
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification is required or preferred

This position provides a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about helping others through behavioral therapy. Candidates should demonstrate patience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical standards in healthcare.
