Experteer Overview In this role you will deliver psychological services to individuals with developmental disabilities in state-operated residential homes. You will lead assessments and develop behavioral and risk-management plans, while training staff and collaborating with clinical experts. The position supports both direct clinical work and program-wide initiatives, contributing to person-centered care across multiple facilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to improve skills and outcomes for residents and participate in agency committees. This role offers meaningful impact in shaping interventions and ensuring compliance with behavioral regulations. Compensation / Benefits • Assess residents in Monroe County and design interventions including Behavior Support Plans and Functional Behavior Assessments • Train group-home and day-program staff on intervention implementation and data collection • Provide direct assessments, counseling, and therapy on caseload as needed • Teach replacement behaviors to improve residents' skills • Participate in psychiatric consults, clinical expert meetings, Life Plans, and quality reviews • Ensure compliance with 633.16 Person-Centered Behavioral Intervention • Engage in Psychology Department activities and agency committees • Assist senior psychologists with supervision and administrative tasks • Potentially teach New Employee Orientation on psychology topics • Serve as psychological examiner for evaluations requiring licensed practitioners Tasks • Licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Psychologist Key requirements • 13 paid holidays per year • 13 days paid vacation • paid sick leave • paid parental leave up to 12 weeks • health insurance options for employees and dependents • retirement plan (ERS) and professional development opportunities
