Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will help develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans, support patient assessments, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs), to identify target behaviors and inform intervention strategies
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Support patient intake processes by gathering relevant medical and behavioral histories while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist in training and supervising behavior technicians and caregivers to ensure consistency and fidelity in implementing behavior plans
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports aligned with healthcare standards and legal requirements
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and special education principles
- Proficiency in data collection methods, medical terminology, and medical records management
- Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct intake interviews, and contribute to diagnostic evaluations
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medical documentation standards, and confidentiality protocols
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals
