Responsibilities

Join Our Team as a Clinician as we build the Substance Use Disorder Program!

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm

Position Summary

The Clinician, Substance Use Disorder is responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, coordinating care, and determining eligibility for patients meeting substance abuse programming criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive ASAM 4 Level of Care Assessments and ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system.
  • Complete general substance abuse assessments for ages 12 and up based on need.
  • Deliver clinical interventions for acute and high-risk substance use disorder patients and communicate updates to the treatment team.
  • Utilize a harm reduction approach to support patient engagement and safety when appropriate.
  • Participate in team meetings to assist with growth, ongoing training and department development.
  • Facilitate a few substances use prevention groups and provide coverage as needed for substance abuse programming.

Qualifications

Required: LPC, LSW, in addition to CADC. (Active and in good standing).

Preferred

  • Experience working in acute care, inpatient or residential SUD settings.
  • Strong knowledge of ASAM criteria and level of care determinations.
  • Experience with clinical documentation and EMR systems.
  • Experience utilizing crisis interventions in an acute psychiatric setting.
