Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized behavioral plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to ensure effective treatment adjustments
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines
  • Support teaching and skill acquisition across various developmental domains through engaging, evidence-based techniques
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and managing medical records securely
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions on behavioral therapy, medical terminology, and behavior management strategies

Skills

  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques
  • Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies compassionately
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical documentation
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and empathy for diverse learning needs
  • Familiarity with special education practices, behavioral health concepts, and care plan implementation
