Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / LCDC

Position Overview:

Affirm is seeking a compassionate and motivated LCSW and/or LCDC to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This individual will work closely with clients struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders while helping support overall program growth and client success.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about behavioral health, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is excited to be part of a growing startup-style organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services
• Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
• Facilitate process groups, psychoeducation, and recovery-focused programming
• Support clients with relapse prevention, coping skills, and recovery planning
• Coordinate care with outside providers and referral sources
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical standards
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive client outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Texas LCSW or LCDC license required
• Experience working in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience facilitating groups and working with diverse populations
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
• Passion for helping individuals in recovery
