Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for potential clients. In this role, you will speak with individuals who may be dealing with injuries, stress, and uncertainty, and help determine whether their case meets the firm’s criteria. Your ability to listen, gather critical information, and build trust quickly is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, web inquiries, and referrals from prospective personal injury clients with enthusiasm and professionalism, establishing a positive first impression
- Conduct thorough intake interviews, documenting accident details, injuries, treatment, and insurance information
- Evaluate potential cases using firm guidelines and escalate qualified leads to attorneys
- Schedule consultations and coordinate with the legal team
- Enter and maintain accurate records in the case management system, Clio.
- Follow up promptly with prospective clients and referral sources
- Communicate with empathy, professionalism, and a sense of urgency
- Assist with onboarding new clients, including sending and tracking intake documents
Qualifications
- Previous intake, call center, or law firm experience preferred (personal injury experience strongly preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately capture sensitive information
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comfortable discussing injuries, accidents, and medical treatment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software, Clio preferred
- High school diploma required; additional education is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with personal injury case screening (e.g., auto accidents, traumatic injuries, workers’ compensation)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Clio
- Strong follow-up and lead conversion mindset

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
