About the Role
This virtual Level 3 School Psychologist position supports K–12 students across New Mexico through remote, school-based psychological services. The role focuses on psychoeducational evaluations, eligibility determinations, consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a structured virtual environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for K–12 students
- Prepare compliant evaluation reports and eligibility documentation
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Support compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
- Maintain accurate records, timelines, and assessment documentation
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active New Mexico Level 3 School Psychologist license/certification
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of evaluations, eligibility processes, and special education compliance
- Experience providing services in a virtual or remote setting preferred
- Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
