Social Worker

We are looking to hire a licensed social worker (LLBSW, LBSW, LLMSW, or LMSW) to work with our clients in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland County.

Our primary goal is to lower the risk of infant mortality and maternal morbidity in at risk populations throughout Michigan. We do this by risk assessment and motivational interviewing, as well as connecting families with needed resources.

In this job, you would maintain a caseload of clients (pregnant women and infants up to 18 months) and would visit them at least once a month. Client visits are a minimum of 30 minutes, other than the intake, which is a one hour appointment. Our pay rate is $35.00 per visit.

Candidates must live with in the mentioned counties. You will also need to travel to our office located in Detroit to submit paperwork and pick up items for the families.

This job allows you to build your own schedule. It is important that you are self motivated and organized to keep yourself on task in terms of client contacts and required paperwork.
