A contract opportunity is available for a school social worker to support middle school students from September 3 to October 13 in Coopersville, MI. This role provides a vital service by addressing the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of a diverse caseload of approximately 30 students at one school site.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized support plans, providing counseling, collaborating with families and school staff, and connecting students to community resources. The social worker will play a key role in promoting a positive school climate and supporting students' academic and personal success.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker certification (310 Certification and LARA)
• Experience working with middle school-aged children
• Ability to manage a caseload of around 30 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to work onsite in Coopersville with some consideration for virtual candidates if necessary

This is a full-time contract position requiring 40 hours per week with exposure to practical school social work in a supportive educational setting.
