For the 2026–2027 school year, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding student success and ensuring compliance with all special education requirements and evaluation timelines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's degree (or higher) in School Psychology
  • Approved and credentialed by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with special education processes and legal compliance preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with students, families, and staff
  • Adaptability to support a range of grade levels (focus may shift to grades 1–4 as needed)
  • Skilled at administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for preschool through fourth-grade students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
  • Provide consultative support and strategies to educators and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in meetings and case conferences, sharing insights to promote every child’s educational growth
