- Possess an active Colorado School Counseling License
- Demonstrated expertise as a School Counselor or Guidance Counselor, preferably in K-12 settings
- Familiarity with the unique socio-emotional and academic needs of middle school students
- Strong communication skills for engaging students, parents, and professionals
- Ability to build trusting relationships and a safe counseling environment
- Resourceful, adaptable, and collaborative within multidisciplinary school teams
- Provide individualized and group counseling to address student concerns, enhance coping strategies, and support emotional well-being
- Develop and implement programs focused on academic achievement, conflict resolution, and career exploration
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding student behavior and learning needs
- Collaborate closely with families, educators, and outside agencies to coordinate support services
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and student progress
- Contribute to developing a positive, inclusive school climate
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all student interactions
