- Active School Counseling License in Colorado
- Previous experience as a School Counselor, Guidance Counselor, or similar role
- Enthusiasm for working with middle school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Professional, organized, and adaptable to different situations
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' social, emotional, and academic needs
- Collaborate with staff and families to create positive experiences for students
- Implement programs addressing topics such as peer relationships, conflict resolution, academic planning, and self-esteem
- Assist students with problem-solving, goal-setting, and transitions
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
- Contribute to an inclusive, supportive school climate
