- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in hand, or eligible and willing to apply
- Prior experience working as a school social worker, preferably supporting K-12 populations
- Knowledge of strategies to address varying learning needs and socio-emotional challenges
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt services for students with diverse backgrounds and ability levels
- Develop and implement individualized and group-based services that address students' social, emotional, and academic needs
- Engage with students as unique individuals, utilizing a range of supports tailored to varying abilities and interests
- Maintain ongoing supervision to ensure student health, safety, and welfare throughout the school day
- Set and communicate high expectations for students, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills
- Strictly adhere to school and district policies governing the care, safety, and educational standards for students
