    School Psychologist - Anticipated for 2026-2027 School Year


    Current Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License)
    • Endorsement: School Psychologist
    Grade Level: Elementary (Grades 1-5)
    • Must be familiar with a variety of testing instruments
    • ADOS training is preferred
    • Strong background in RTI needed
    • Fluent with the IEP reporting and processing
    Probation: All new employees shall be hired on a probationary basis for one (1) calendar year. Beginning with the first day of employment, sick leave, personal business days, and health benefits are effective. Dental and vision benefits are effective on the first day of the following month of employment.

    Note: Unused Personal Business Leave Days will be added to accumulated Sick Leave Days.
    Health Insurance: Any premium increases or decreases shall be plit 70 percent to the Board and 30% to the employee. Employees who elect not to participate in the health insurance plan extended by the Board of Education will receive up to $1,300.00 per year. Staff who complete the school year but who will not be returning the following school year due to resignation, termination, release or a reduction in force, (not due to retirement in which case ends June 30th) shall receive a Board contribution for their July and August COBRA Insurance premiums equal to that provided for continuing staff members. In order to be eligible for this benefit, the staff member must submit the normal employee share for any increases in effect for the months of July and August. Staff who fail to give timely notice (prior to June 30th) of resignation or retirement will be required to pay the full cost of the monthly insurance premiums for coverage after June 30 of the final year of employment through a one-time payment or agree to automatic payroll deduction of amounts owed.
    Dental Insurance: The employee may elect to participate in the District's group dental insurance plan as it may exist from time to time. Any such participation shall be only as permitted by the District's insurance carrier and in accord with the carrier's requirement. The employee will pay one hundred percent (100%) of the annual individual premium cost.
    Vision Insurance: The employee will pay 100% of the cost of monthly premiums for vision insurance for employees.
    Reimbursement of Accumulated Sick Leave Upon Retirement/Death: Upon retirement from the district, an employee who has served at least ten (10) years in the district and who is 55 years of age or older shall be given a sum of $30.00 per day for unused accumulated sick leave not counted for retirement pension credit not to exceed a maximum of 100 days. This benefit will exist through the life of this contract.
    Life Insurance: For full-time employees, the Board will provide a $20,000 term life insurance policy pursuant to the District's life insurance program.
    Tuition Reimbursement: See section 12.1 of the FREA agreement.
