About Gentle Healing Space Gentle Healing Space is a growing trauma-focused group practice in Fremont, CA. We provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

We are seeking a Part-Time Associate Therapist (AMFT/ACSW) or Licensed Therapist (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) who is passionate about trauma-informed therapy and working with diverse populations. Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to children (ages 5+), adolescents, adults, and families
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor client progress
  • Provide trauma-informed psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, somatic modalities, or other integrative methods (EMDR, Brainspotting if trained)
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards
  • Participate in case consultation meetings; weekly in-person group supervision (Fridays, 10am–12pm) is required for associates and optional for licensed clinicians
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support high-quality, coordinated client care
  • Provide in-person sessions on Wednesdays and/or Sundays with telehealth options on other days

Compensation & Benefits

  • Clinical pay $45–$60/hour, commensurate with licensure status and experience
  • Paid administrative rate for supervision, meetings, and required trainings — Friday group supervision (10am–12pm) is required for associates and optional for licensed clinicians
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Combined PTO/Sick Time
  • Professional development stipend
  • Clinical supervision and mentorship for associates
  • Free EMDR or Brainspotting consultation toward certification for therapists who are already trained — please note we do not provide basic EMDR or Brainspotting training. A two-year commitment is required once consultation is started.
  • Flexible schedule with a gradually building caseload with opportunity to grow
  • Supportive team environment

Preferred Qualifications
