Limited Permit Therapist (MFT-LP)
Manhattan | Hybrid | Full-Time
Looking Glass Psychology is a thriving, women-run group private practice based in Manhattan. We are intentional about building a practice where early-career clinicians feel supported, guided, and respected as they grow into confident, independent professionals.
We are currently seeking full-time Marriage and Family Therapist who has recently completed their master’s degree and are looking to begin clinical work in a structured group private practice under the supervision of a licensed psychotherapist or psychologist. This is a W-2 employee position, designed to provide stability, mentorship, and a clear path toward licensure. (Though W2, this is a fee for service position).
Why Early-Career Clinicians Choose Looking Glass Psychology
We understand that the first years after graduation can feel overwhelming—and that not all group practices are built to truly support associate clinicians. Ours is.
- High-quality supervision. You will receive supervision from experienced, licensed clinicians who are invested in your development—not just in signing off on hours.
- Clear expectations & transparency. Caseload expectations, workflows, documentation standards, and support systems are clearly outlined from the start.
- Women-run, clinician-led leadership. Our leadership team understands the realities of early clinical work and prioritizes ethical care, sustainability, and professional growth.
- Learning-focused culture. Questions are welcomed, consultation is encouraged, and your development is taken seriously.
