Silver Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) to provide

peer support services within a newly renovated assisted living community in Brooklyn.

This role is centered on connection, support, and shared experience. Peer Specialists work

directly with residents to build trust, encourage engagement in services, and support individuals

in their recovery journey.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and able to connect with a wide

range of individuals. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of presence, consistency, and

authenticity to their work.

Responsibilities include engaging residents in conversation and support, encouraging

participation in services, assisting with daily structure and follow-through, collaborating with

clinical staff, and documenting peer interactions in a clear and timely manner.

Candidates must hold a valid CRPA certification. Experience working in mental health,

substance use, or community-based settings is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the

ability to maintain appropriate boundaries are essential.

Compensation & Structure:

Hourly compensation typically ranges from $22-$28 per hour based on experience.

This position offers a consistent schedule within a supportive team environment and the

opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
