Licensed Social Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role involves assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating access to necessary resources. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, promoting their overall well-being.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide mental health counseling and support through individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and psychopharmacology in client assessments.
• Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources and support services.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences among clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work.

Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in group therapy techniques and mental health counseling.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology as it relates to patient care.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and clinical counseling practices.
• Ability to maintain comprehensive medical records and documentation.
• Experience with Christian counseling is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and healthcare teams.
• Empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving abilities to address client concerns effectively.

Pay: $45,700.00 - $52,000.00 per year
