Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential social work support in an onsite position focused on grades K-4. This full-time contract opportunity runs from now through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, with the potential for extension. You'll play a vital role in delivering emotional support and resources, helping students navigate challenges and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Social Worker credentials (state licensure required)
  • Previous experience working with children in an elementary school or similar environment
  • Expertise in supporting students with emotional needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to establish trust and rapport with young learners and their families
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling and social-emotional support for students in grades K-4 with identified emotional support needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to implement intervention strategies and foster a positive learning environment
  • Conduct individual and small-group sessions to address personal, social, and academic challenges
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and help coordinate support services
  • Document and track student progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
