Clinical Supervisor
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Clinical Supervisor to support the clinical quality, organization, and development of our outpatient psychotherapy team.
This is a full-time leadership position that combines clinical supervision, quality oversight, staff support, and a small clinical caseload. The ideal candidate is an experienced, organized, clinically strong supervisor who enjoys mentoring therapists, strengthening clinical care, improving systems, and helping clinicians succeed in a supportive group practice environment. Schedule: Hybrid
Compensation
Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Supervisor will:
- Provide clinical supervision to assigned supervisees
- Maintain a small clinical caseload
- Support clinicians in improving client engagement, retention, and treatment outcomes
- Review and strengthen clinical documentation quality
- Provide case consultation and clinical guidance
- Help clinicians develop effective treatment planning and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor clinical performance, professionalism, and adherence to company expectations
- Support ethical, clinically appropriate, and compliant care
- Assist with onboarding, training, and development of clinicians
- Help strengthen clinical systems, workflows, and quality standards
- Identify areas where clinicians may need additional support, coaching, or corrective guidance
- Collaborate with leadership to support department goals and overall clinical quality
- Promote a positive, accountable, and clinically excellent team culture
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have:
- Active New York State clinical license, such as **LCSW
- Prior experience providing clinical supervision, with a minimum of 3 years post-LCSW.
- Strong knowledge of outpatient mental health treatment
- Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Ability to support therapists with different levels of experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to balance supervision, clinical care, documentation review, and quality oversight
- Commitment to ethical care, clinical quality, and therapist development
