About SpectrumOne Sports
SpectrumOne Sports is an adaptive sports and fitness program designed specifically for athletes with autism and related developmental needs.
We provide:
- Private 1:1 sports and fitness training in-home or at nearby parks
- Adaptive PE classes in schools and ABA clinics
- Structured, ABA-informed coaching, focused on skill development, behavior support, and engagement through movement
Our mission is to develop athletes through sports while building confidence, independence, and lifelong skills.
Position Overview
We are hiring Adaptive Sports & Fitness Coaches with current or previous RBT experience to deliver high-quality sessions across multiple environments.
This is a coach-first role.
You will:
- Travel to athletes’ homes, nearby parks, schools, or ABA clinics
- Lead 1:1 sessions and small group PE classes
- Implement ABA-informed coaching strategies within a structured sports environment
- Create an engaging, high-energy experience that supports skill development
Important:
This is not a traditional therapy role. You are a coach who uses ABA principles, not an RBT providing direct therapy services.
Session Structure
- 1:1 Sessions: 1 hour
- PE Classes: Typically 1 hour
- Some classes may range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on school/clinic needs
Scheduling Windows
- PE Classes: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 1:1 Sessions: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Territory
Sugar Land, Richmond, Missouri City, Sienna, and surrounding areas.
These are scheduling windows, not guaranteed hours. Coaches build schedules within these timeframes.
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $18/hour during training and $19/hour once you have completed training and are accepting classes independently.
Additional earning opportunities:
- Drive Pay: Flat daily rate if exceeding designated travel distance

Requirements
- Current or previous RBT certification (required)
- Understanding of ABA principles and implementation
- Sports and/or fitness experience (required)
- Experience working with children (coaching experience highly preferred)
- Ability to manage high-energy, movement-based sessions
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Up to 45 minutes during peak Houston traffic
- Saturday availability (highly preferred)
