Direct Support Counselor responsibilities include providing personal care including housekeeping; lifting, transferring, bathing, administrating medication, meal preparations, and performing general household duties as well as community integration (i.e. transporting individuals to doctor appointments advocates on behalf of the individual and provides medical professionals with accurate information, grocery shopping, and recreational activities).

Client 5- (Sa) 12:00pm-6:00pm, (Su) 12:00pm-6:00pm.
Client 6- (M) 4:00pm-10:00pm (Tu) 4:00pm-10:00pm (W)4:00pm-10:00pm (Th) 4:00pm-10:00pm (F) 4:00pm-10:00pm.
Client 6- (Sa) 9:00am-5:00pm (Su) 9:00am-5:00pm.
Client 7- (M)4:30pm-7:30pm (Tu)4:30pm-7:30pm (W)4:30pm-7:30pm (Th) 4:30pm-7:30pm (F) 4:30pm-7:30pm.
Client 8-(Sa)10am-4pm (Tu) 3:30pm-8:30pm, (Th) 3:30pm-8:30pm, (F) 3:30pm-8:30pm.

Required:

  • Current MD driver’s license
  • Minimum age: 21 years old
  • Acceptable driving record and 2 years of US verifiable driving experience
  • Must have access to reliable transportation with valid insurance (may be required to use your own vehicle to transport individuals as needed)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-year experience
  • Sensitivity to Jewish Culture

Pay Range- $17.00- $20.00

Preferred:

  • A valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification, verifiable through MBON and/or from Dimensional Health Care Associates, Inc
  • First Aid/CPR (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council)
  • MANDT
