Description: The Reflections Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical staff. The Clinical supervisor will provide clinical supervision or consultation as needed to therapists, support therapists in following policies and procedures, and promote a positive work culture at Reflections. The Clinical Supervisor will play a vital role with a positive and supportive approach with supervision of the staff in accordance with the mission and values of Reflections Counseling Services.
Reports to: Clinical Director
Functions:
- Supervise and oversee therapists both in the office and virtually.
- Assist in interviews with candidates for employment and provide feedback on hiring processes.
- Communicate/ coordinate with Practice Manager and onboarding coordinator when new therapists are hired.
- Conduct informal evaluations of therapists and provide input on formal evaluations.
- Supervise and provide support to therapists on an as needed basis.
- Supervise and provide support and education to interns on an ongoing basis.
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Reflections Counseling Services as a Clinical Supervisor and a a mental health therapist.
- Work with therapists on retention of clients and track their KPIs. .
- Be proactive and responsible in holding therapists accountable in note content and timeliness, marketing/blogging (if applicable), and overall performance of their job duties via in person informal check ins.
- Working with therapists on decreasing cancellation rates to below 10%
- Check in regularly with the Clinical Director regarding processes and/or procedures, including proposed changes, clinical issues and successes.
- Lead the formal case consultation meeting each week with full time therapists.
- If applicable, provide formal supervision in 1-hour intervals to provisionally licensed therapists.
- Other site supervisory/related duties that may be assigned by the CEO and Clinical Director.
Experience
- Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with active licensure in the relevant state.
- Proven supervisory experience in behavioral health or mental health settings.
- Extensive background in providing behavioral therapy, child & family counseling, crisis management, and working with diverse populations such as pediatrics or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling complex cases involving addiction counseling, PTSD, family dynamics, trauma informed care, etc.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection; knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Experience managing clinical teams within outpatient settings; strong leadership skills are highly valued. Join us in making a meaningful difference by leading a dedicated team committed to delivering compassionate mental health services!
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
